London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony

I do not own this photo. Obviously, I have to get one off google because I didn't attend the ceremony in person.
I'm watching the replay as I blog, but I'll add in my first impression from this morning too! The whole performance was full of English modern and old school artists. Emeli Sandé performs 'Read all about it' first, and it's such a perfect beginning. Everything was covered in newspaper, filled with English literature.  Oh, and Timothy Spall was dressed as Winston Churchill quoting lines of Shakespeare. It was so legit. As you can see, my vocabulary is terrible right now. Excuse that. It's what happens when I watch something this intense.

Then Madness performed the most catchiest song ever, 'Our House.' That song is my jam! Pet Shop Boys performed 'West End Girls.' Afterwards, One Direction sang 'What Makes you Beautiful.' I'm not a Directioner or anything, but it's one of the songs that I actually like, so round of applause for them! The largest member amount for Stomp comes in, and they just owned it!

People from all over the world pour in, representing their country which was just an intense moment, and it deserves some snaps for being amazing. USA's hat's...I want one, oh my word, haha!! A choir of a hundred people sing 'Imagine' and they form John Lennon's face from a top angle. Impressive.

George Michael performs 'Freedom,' and you can just taste the freedom in the song, okay? Okay. The Kaiser Chiefs perform 'Pinball Wizard' by The Who. Then fancy clothed people come in looking fierce, fabulous, and flawless. A skeletal ship moves in, and Annie Lennox performs 'Little Bird.' Ed Sheeran performs a song by Pink Floyd, 'Wish you were here.' He deserves a glass raise! Russel Brand comes in on top of a bus which turns into a giant octopus in which I need to have one for myself because....well, who doesn't want one?

Jessie J performs 'Price Tag' which at one moment in my life was the only song I chose to listen to. Then my forever jam came on which was Tinie Tempah singing 'Written In The Stars.' Taio Cruz sings the song of my favorite Summer ever, Dynamite. Summer 2010 for the win! Dynamite was my cousin and I's dishwashing song! All three famous artists performed 'You should be Dancing.'

Spice Girls sing 'Wannabe' which was also the song of my Summer 2010. They also sing 'Spice up your Life.' The Spice Girls do not age! Beady Eye performs 'Wonderwall,' and everyone in the crowd is waving whatever they have in their hands, phones, flags, and whatever else. Eric Idle sings a up to date version of 'Always Look on the Bright side of Life' which I need to get on my iTune Library! The nuns, omg. (See! Terrible vocabulary!)

Freddie Mercury sings on the big screen! The effects, oh my word. I can't even, and the guitar solo after him. That. was. fierce.'We will Rock you.' was one of the most glorious parts ever! The Olympic Anthem was sung by a male choir, and the Brazilian anthem played too. They also showed some things of Rio's culture and what not. I guess they're trying to get you excited for Rio 2016. Well guess what? THAT is absolute torture. Why? We all have to wait four flipping years until then. It was pretty fierce though!

Well done, London, well done.

The flame lit up the world, but they must extinguish it....for now.

Rio 2016 is on our way.

Unfinished Business

Warning: My sentences contain a lot of numbers referring to time of day. I apologize if anything is confusing. You have been warned.

At 9am, I watched what I thought was the closing ceremony of the olympics, but no. It was a little montage they did of the athletes. It wasn't until 10:30 until the actual ceremony. Oh the epicness. It deserves all the awards. So I'm having a good time watching, fangirling, and saying 'legit' or 'no way' every five seconds. But then, my mom decides to call me up. She tells me that I have an orthodontist appointment at 1:30, and my dad's going to pick me up at 12. First of all, why was it scheduled today? Why not Christmas or something. I'd rather have that...not really.

I continued watching anyways. (By the way, I'll tell you guys my reaction to the ceremony or whatever, tonight.) My dad dropped me off to the orthodontist, and I got my braces tightened and what not. So I am currently at his office, and I seriously can't blog very well due to the Adele music playing in the background. It's all bummy, and I can't concentrate.

Since I missed like 30-40 minutes of the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, I have to watch the replay. That, my friend, is how desperate I am. This opportunity only comes once every four years, (or Four years ;D) so I am NOT going to miss it. The replay starts at 7pm and ends at 10:30pm-ish. It is 4pm at the moment. My mother gives me a certain time that I need to be asleep by. We all know that I don't follow it because I read when everyone in the house is sleeping, but I need to hear the television in order to know what's going on, and that requires sound.

My plan is to take a nap at 5:30ish whilst on Skype with my cousin, so she can wake me up at 7. I absolutely will not rely on my alarm clock for this because I can never hear my alarm clock therefore I never get up at the time I want to. Then...I'll watch at 7 until 10:30.

I have some unfinished business that needs to be dealt with.

My Weekend

I didn't get to blog yesterday, so hopefully this post will make up for it. Where did I leave off on Friday night? Oh yes, reading Insurgent. It was so intense! Don't worry, I'll stop here. No spoilers, alright? Then on Saturday morning my parents decided to force me to go running, but it started to rain as we got there. I have no problem with rain, but apparently my parents do, so that meant we had to go back home. That sucked because I had to miss Project Runway, and I had to wake up early. As I waited for breakfast to be cooked, I made this thing. I don't really know what is.
I also watched the London 2012 Olympics yesterday, and I decorated my scissors.
Further on that day, I was quite bored, so I chose to make some rainbow cupcakes. Here are some photos for your enjoyment!

Oh, and here's a high quality picture of my backpack like I promised!
Today, which is Sunday, I went running this morning, not too exciting. I also went to church early, and there was this couple, and it was just PDA alert.... at church. I watched the Olympics, again today. Usain Bolt had the nerve to come up to the camera and say that he's number one. Show off much? But really, who can blame him? He actually is number one. I watched The Bourne Legacy at four, or you should I say Four ;) Just kidding, okay back to the point.

It was alright. Not the best movie ever. The first thirty minutes wasn't that fabulous or anything. Other than that, It was pretty good. A lot of running, taking tablets, shooting, & car chasing. That's kind of it. The music was very beautiful though. The music was done by one of my favorite composers, James Newton Howard. Also known as the man who composed the music for The Hunger Games and The Dark Knight Rises.

Before the movie, I bought a new book at the bookstore, so I won't die after I finish Insurgent. The book is Struck by Jennifer Bosworth. I wanted to read this because Sam Cushion (unofficialscore) made a song for it on YouTube! It's dystopian too, so bonus, haha!

I'm going off the computer now because I'm going to read Insurgent. I'm 3/4 into the book already!

Carry on with your day :)

Irritating Commercials

I am presently watching volleyball in the Olympics, and I have no problems with it. The problems I do have are the commercial breaks. Especially the beer commercials. They have got to be the most annoying things ever. I seriously hear 'Pitbull together with Bud Light' way to many times. And then there's a dog named 'We go,' so there's a party, and everybody's saying "Here we go." So this dog comes and brings them a bottle of beer. The London 2012 Olympics have started more than a week ago, and they're ending on Sunday. If you're listening to these advertisements and drinking beer whilst watching the games, I really do wonder how drunk you are at this point.

Would you look at that? The Pitbull commercial just came on. Okay, I'm going to stop talking about beer. I'm thirteen. This is just ridiculous. There are a lot more other commercials out there that bother me. Let's talk about those. I dislike the Garnier BB Cream Commercials. The women are screaming "BB" ten thousand times, and I'm sitting here slapping myself in the face. "Skin like this, just like that." No, just no. Not right now.

Diving is on at the moment. I'll update again tonight!
